Spring Trends//Eighteen Edit

Our style synopsis describes the Spring trends for this season whilst informing you how we have embraced them into our store:

Crayon hues shine brightly this season as seen on the major runways. Our ultimate knitwear collection by Amazing (brand) arrests our attention with satsuma orange, limeflower, candy pink, pillar-box red plus more in the spectrum. If bold colours are too much, the fashion world also gives us ice-cream shades too such as pastel pink, pistachio green and baby blue to soften the mood.

One Hundred Stars incorporate gentle colour schemes into their beautiful signature map prints and other illustrative hand printed designs of which comprise of scarves, kimono’s, gowns to be worn as dressing gowns or layered over a white shirt and jeans for instance.

Print ‘n’ Mix

The mix of prints is still a happy marriage. Combos in stars/spots and stripes are very wearable.  APFB  arrange these together beautifully into key co-ordinates such as the over-sized top ‘Pammy’, palazzos and sweater dresses.

If you want to go a step further mix up checks with tribal prints, geometrics and floral. Be expressive and playful.

Extra Texture

Embroidered, embellished, extra texture it is. Nu, the Danish label we’ve held a good few seasons now portray this best. We have embroidered tee’s, lazer cut tee’s, rivets, zips, contrasting textiles, its all there.

Spring Outerwear

A real 90’s vibe was spotted on the runways at New York Fashion Week. A stand-out item was the wind/breaker, parkas and anoraks in many  iterations whether super-casual or dressed up.

A new introduction to our store Tiff Tiffy, are a cool, contemporary, Danish brand that have created a simplistic PU mac lined for comfort. sealed seams protect from the wet but also give a cleaner and sharper finish. These coats share similarities with another designer make but without the large price ticket.

Good Jeans

Jeans are going in the direction of looking smarter and more tailored. More polished than punked. Our denims by Amazing (brand) are a good fabric, the denim is hardwearing but not ‘cardboardy’. We offer good styles and leg shapes in an assortment of washes and colours.

So that’s our mini trend edit of whats in store! It’s going to be an exciting season! We still have more to come and more to tell you about!

From all of us at Terracotta xoxo
